Sandy Bear is a not-for-profit charity supporting children, young people and their families when they are facing, or have experienced, the death of someone they love.

This includes supporting children who are living with the worry and uncertainty that comes when a significant loss is expected. We are there at one of the most difficult times a family can face, helping children feel understood, supported and less alone.

By strengthening emotional health and wellbeing early on, we aim to ease the impact of loss in childhood and reduce the risk of longer term emotional and mental health difficulties later in life, helping young people grow with resilience, confidence and a better quality of life.
